Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor who hails from Bahrain's Manama was brought up in an ethnically diverse family. Her father Elroy Fernandez comes originally from Sri Lanka (Sinhalese - Catholic)and her mother Kim is Malaysian. Her brothers are younger and one older sister. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 competed for Miss Universe 2006 as well as Miss Universe 2006 when she took home the title in 2006. In 2006, she took home her the Miss Sri Lanka title. Following that, she stepped into the world of television, hosting an interview show on Sri Lankan companies known as Lanka Business Report. Padukone's father is badminton-player Prakash Padukone. Padukone has been born in Copenhagen as well as Bangalore. When she was a teenager she participated in national badminton events, but she backed off the sport and became a designer. Padukone comes from Mangalore and her native language is Konkani. Her lineage hails from Padukone village located in Kundapura Taluk in the Udupi District of Karnataka, the Indian state.
